An interim report to Congress has been prepared which establishes baseline information for all four NTPP communities and discusses planned activities for the program. A final report to Congress on the outcomes will be prepared in 2011. You can view the interim report here. SUMMARY OF 2007 BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN COUNTS AND SURVEYS In September, 2007, counts and surveys of bicyclists and pedestrians were conducted at 22 locations throughout the urbanized area of the county. The outcomes of these counts and surveys are analyzed in the report, which compares the recent counts with those conducted in 1999. These counts and surveys also serve as a baseline for identical counts and surveys which will be conducted in 2010, at the conclusion of the Nonmotorized Transportation Pilot Program by which time the infrastructure projects and the outreach and education programs will have been completed. The report is available in two Acrobat PDF files: the full report, which includes all information and graphics and which is a large file (recommended only for broadband connections), and a version without the maps in the appendix (much smaller file size).
