Street Smarts and TAM release "Get Street Smart" presentation

Posted: 2009-09-10

Street Smarts Marin is a traffic safety awareness program supported by the Transportation Authority of Marin with funding from the Nonmotorized Transportation Pilot Program.  Its purpose is to inform and educate, addressing traffic safety problems at their source: the minds of drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians.  The program has been implemented in Corte Madera, Larkspur and Mill Valley since August 2008, and recently begun its second phase, expanding into Tiburon, Belvedere, Ross, San Anselmo and Fairfax.  You can learn more about Street Smarts Marin by clicking the Street Smarts icon in the lefthand sidebar of the WalkBikeMarin homepage, or by reading this fact sheet on the WalkBikeMarin Projects and Programs page .

In conjunction with its Phase II expansion, Street Smarts Marin has produced a Community Traffic Safety Program presentation called "Get Street Smart! Did You Know?", which local organizations, businesses and other groups can use to raise awareness in their communities.  Click the icon below to view and download the presentation.
