"Share The Road" checkpoints will be held around Marin County in September to promote good interactions between bicyclists and motorists. The program, a  joint effort between the California Highway Patrol and the Marin County Bicycle Coalition, will hand out "share the road" flyers to both bicyclists and motorists, containing information about laws and tips to make the driving environment safe and comfortable for all users.

Checkpoints will be at Blackie's Pasture in Tiburon on September 14th (9 to 11 am), at  San Anselmo and Tamalpais Avenues in San Anselmo on September 20th (8 to 11 am).
