Last Tuesday, the San Rafael City Council unanimously approved five projects funded by WalkBikeMarin, totalling a $2.81 million investment. Together, the projects will improve bicycle connections throughout San Rafael, including improved connections to the transit center and enhancedments to important travel corridors.

The approved projects are:

• Puerto Suello Path to Transit Center Connector
• Mahon Creek Path to Transit Center Connector
• Las Gallinas/Northgate Improvements
• Freitas Parkway Improvements
• East Francisco Blvd (for study and construction)
