Press Room Mill Valley Herald reports record bicycling and walking Posted: 2009-03-06 The Mill Valley Herald reported the highest bicycle and pedestrian rates in Marin County, according to this story in today's paper. Their findings, based on the 2008 WalkBikeMarin Bicycle and Pedestrian Counts and Surveys report (available here), highlight that Mill Valley is home to the two most popular bicycling destinations in Marin County, both along the Mill Valley-Sausalito pathway. Supervisor Charles McGlashan agreed with the findings, stating that "If we keep building a better network and capitalize on this trend we will transform our habits well over time." Press Room
