Press Room New nonprofit bike shop opening in San Anselmo Posted: 2009-07-21 On August 9th, Marin County will add one more bike shop to its tally when nonprofit organization The Bicycle Works holds a grand opening for its new location at 1117 San Anselmo Avenue at Yolanda Station in San Anselmo. The Bicycle Works is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the bicycle as a means of community development.  They will host bike repair classes, develop youth programs and organize bicycle-related community service projects.  As a new and growing organization, they are currently seeking volunteers and donations to help support the new shop.  Visit their website, thebicycleworks.org, for more information about their August 9th grand opening and how to get involved.
