Street Smarts and TAM release "Get Street Smart" presentation Posted: 2009-09-10 Street Smarts Marin is a traffic safety awareness program supported by the Transportation Authority of Marin with funding from the Nonmotorized Transportation Pilot Program. Its purpose is to inform and educate, addressing traffic safety problems at their source: the minds of drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians. The program has been implemented in Corte Madera, Larkspur and Mill Valley since August 2008, and recently begun its second phase, expanding into Tiburon, Belvedere, Ross, San Anselmo and Fairfax. In conjunction with its Phase II expansion, Street Smarts Marin has produced a Community Traffic Safety Program presentation called "Get Street Smart!
