Kerry Kazala of Mill Valley was recently selected as "Bicycle Commuter of the Year" by the Marin County Bicycle Coalition. The award, established as part of Bike Commute Month, honors her daily 50 mile roundtrip ride. Organizers hope the award will serve as inspiration to the many Marin County residents who could make their work trip on bike some or all of the time.
