The early flowers here should be alive with an assortment of insects, the local lizards will be coming out of their winter hiding places, and if we go down into the canyon we can visit an amazing waterfall and hunt for salamanders in the redwood forest along the creek. Turn left at College Ave, turn right at Woodland Rd, and turn left at Evergreen Dr. Continue uphill to the intersection with Ridgecrest; 50 feet uphill from this junction, go left at Crown Rd.
