Wildflowers & Waterfalls Walk April 8th

Posted: 2012-04-02

Sunday, April 8 | 10am – 12pm
Location: Cascade Canyon Preserve

Ranger/photographer Craig Solin leads this short spring hike through Cascade Canyon Preserve in the hopes of capturing one of Marin’s most gorgeous waterfalls. We’ll explore all the possibilities along the way, from insects to wildflowers and more. And because we there, we’ll stop briefly to take in the San Anselmo Creek and learn why it’s important steelhead and salmon habitat.

Bring water, a camera, and a tripod if you can. For more information, contact csolin@marincounty.org or (415) 473-2816. Rain will cancel.

Directions:Meet at Doc Edgar Park in Fairfax: in downtown Fairfax, turn at Bolinas Rd, follow for a half mile, and turn/veer right at Cascade Dr. The park is on the right. Parking is limited, carpool if you can.
