MAY 7-18, BIKE REROUTE AT SOUTH END OF GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE

The Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy has been undertaking the construction on the southeast end of the Golden Gate Bridge over recent months. This construction is to improve the visitor experience for everyone that visits the Bridge and uses the trails in the area. The Conservancy is now approaching the final weeks of construction in this area. We alerted you earlier this week that the west sidewalk will REOPEN on May 18.

Effective Monday, May 7 and extending through May 18, there will be a change in bicycle ROUTING between the east sidewalk entrance at the south end and the visitor plaza area.

Please also take special care on Monday morning, May 7, as there will be a press event in the area from 8:30am to noon.
