The Draft Marin County Unincorporated Area Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan is now available for review and comment.  The document can be downloaded from http://walkbikemarin.org/resource_library_policies.php .  The Plan is the guiding document for the provision of bicycle and pedestrian facilities in the unincorporated area and is the basis for seeking funds to construct the proposed projects and conduct outreach activities.  The Plan provides background information on existing facilities constructed and other related activities to date, collision and usage data on existing roadways and facilities, and proposed improvements to build out the countywide network and estimated costs of those projects.  The Plan web page also has links to bicycle and pedestrian plans in other Marin communities.

Comments on the Draft Plan will be accepted through Friday, January 12, 2018.  A finalized Plan will be presented at a public hearing before the Board of Supervisors in February.
