The master plan highlights bicycle and pedestrian projects that the town seeks, including sidewalk "gap closure" programs, improved street crossings, additional bike parking and seven miles of new bikeways.

The streets resolution means all roadway and development projects will consider the needs of pedestrians, bicyclists, transit users, the disabled and automobile users.
