The Marin Board of Supervisors recently approved a new program to increase the number and quality of bicycle parking installations throughout Marin County.

The new Bicycle Parking Program will provide bicycle racks and lockers at a substantial discount. Any private business, public agency, or non-profit organization located in Marin County (including the incorporated cities and towns) is eligible for the program. Residents who notice a lack of bicycle parking can tell business owners, property owners, and organizations about the program.

Funding for this program is provided for the Transportation Fund for Clean Air, through the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD).
