A new bike lane was recently painted at the intersection of Center Boulevard and Pastori Lane in Fairfax - at the very busy north-east corner of the Fair-Anselm Plaza Shopping Center. This new bike lane guides cyclists from Pastori Lane diagonally through the intersection, and on to Center Boulevard. Cyclists utilizing Landsdale heading towards Fairfax (which runs parallel to Center) are sometimes difficult to see when they approach the intersection, as Center Boulevard is elevated relative to Lansdale. The new lane signals to drivers that they should expect to see bicyclists at this intersection, as well as guides cyclists through the most visible path for all road users.
